The performance in this type of project, as well as its location in a idyllic enclave of the Asturian landscape, was a challenge for us in which we wanted to be especially involved, paying attention to every detail and safeguarding the standards that a winery of these characteristics requires.
Our work was developed in two distinct and physically separated volumetric elements. One of them is located next to the work and storage area of the pre-existing warehouse, which articulates the Aging area, tasting room and event space.
While the other, smaller in size, represents a “return to the origins” where you can understand the winemaking process in its beginnings. simple and rustic volume without any ostentatious performance, simply the structural and aesthetic safeguard, which contains the rudimentary apparatus of the prelude to this process.
His The owner was involved in the project from the very beginning, he was clear about the final goal, take care of the details at the same time that it needed to generate two areas attractive, as well as practical, for both visitors and residents own winery managers, which could reflect the traditional spirit of the area.
The spatial configuration was simple, an area at the upper level dedicated to the events space and tasting room, where special attention was paid to the wine itself. furniture and one winery area on the lower floor for the storage of wine barrels where the wines are matured.
