This house is located on a plot with a steep slope located on the slope of Monte Naranco. The “organic” function of the house seeks to root the construction in the landscape and it opens only towards its southern façade, seeking the views that its elevated position over the city of Oviedo gives it, while managing to optimize the day rooms. the most favorable and luminous orientation. The housing program is articulated in two clearly volumetrically differentiated spaces; the day area, composed of a single kitchen piece open to the living room and dining room, which in the purely kitchen space is directly connected to a small room that serves as a pantry and laundry room. While the night area, articulated through the access to the house, is made up of three bedrooms, one of them with an en-suite bathroom and a dressing room; and a guest bathroom. The entire house is open on its south façade towards the porch that houses the infinity pool, creating a semi-covered leisure space with wonderful views and without any element that obstructs them. The interiors reflect a character of continuity in all spaces, as well as cleanliness and purity of the forms that make up the spaces. Both in its materials and installations, zero consumption is achieved in the home, allowing it to be completely disconnected from the electrical network, while the pool serves as a storage tank with a water temperature that exceeds 20ºC at all times, technology developed by our collaborators that we will develop in a future entry on our blog.
