Description

This house is located in the westernmost area of Asturias and is characterized by a strong difference in elevation on the plot, as well as the extreme temperatures of the climate of its location.

Setting

This design basically sought to obtain the functionality of the spaces, as well as to safeguard the characteristic configuration of the typologies of the homes in the area, where a piece of daily use, in this case the living room, articulates and serves as an anteroom for the rest. of the housing program. Integrating the representativeness of customs with the comfort of having a garage piece directly connected to the home itself. Two differentiated zones are perceived for the development of life, the night zone of greater seclusion and the day zone.

Integration into the environment

There are two areas for contemplation of the wonderful environment in which the house is framed. A terrace space for use in the spring and summer months and an interior gallery that allows you to enjoy nature in the fall and winter months. Each of them with a found orientation towards the framework native to the context of this territory.

Design line

This is purely sensible, traditional and even-handed housing. Adapting a real housing need program that optimizes the built surface, seeking to frame the landscape in each element in contact with it.
