ADAPTATION OF THE PATIO AND EXTERIORS OF THE IES NORA LOCATED IN POLA DE SIERO (ASTURIAS)

The present Implementation Project has been drawn up to define the works to adapt the school playground, focusing on two priority interventions: covered space and visual integration of the space intended for parking.


The proposed solution consists of adapting the area of the outdoor space between the building and the roof of the existing covered patio in order to guarantee an adequate play area, and covering this space with a metal structure and a stretched PVC membrane cover.


On the other hand, the intervention in the parking lot will allow to diffuse and, figuratively, breathe in coexistence, generating a fragment of green area, anticipating future interventions that will allow a greater renaturalization of the playground. The main idea is to keep the vehicle access visually separated from the rest of the space used by the students.
